Gerard Braybrooke
Regional Vice President, Northern Europe, Silica
Gerard Braybrooke, a 16-year veteran of the electronics distribution industry, was appointed Regional Vice President, Northern Europe (UK, Ireland, Nordic), Silica in April 2003. Responsible for growing the Silica business in this region, Gerard reports directly to Miguel Fernandez, President of Silica.
Gerard joined Silica from the Memec Group, where he held the positions of Regional Director - Northern Europe for Impact-Memec from September 1999 and, before this, Managing Director of Thame Components from December 1997.
During his 12 years with Memec, Braybrooke held a variety of senior sales, marketing and management positions. He spent his earlier career years with Rapid Silicon Limited and Kudos Electronics.
