The Rx210 is the first member of the new RX200 family of low power microcontrollers based on the popular RX CPU. It combines the powerful RX 32-bit CPU Core with 50 MHz single cycle on-chip Flash memory and the ability to operate, and program and erase flash from 1.62V – 5.5V.
The RX210 is designed on a new low power process, offering an unbeatable combination of low power and performance. The RX210 offers a wide range of low power operating modes, while still maintaining market leading levels of performance. The RX210 is an ideal solution for the next generation of low power applications.
The RX210 is available in a wide range of memory sizes and package options and includes many advances peripheral features. These include enhanced timers with motor control support, independent watchdog timer (IWDT) that is system-clock-independent, a real-time clock with calibration, tamper and alarm functions, an advanced Event Link Controller for high speed event handling, DMA , DTC and the unique data Operations Circuit to allow for automatic data and peripheral handling without the CPU, a temperature sensor and a 12-bit analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) capable of conversion speeds down to just 1 _6;s.
Future devices in the RX210 family will offer up to 1 Mbytes of on-chip flash an be available with package options from 48 – 145 pins.
