FireCracker Development and Reference Design Platform

Find out about FireCracker, the Development and Reference Design Platform for Audio/Video and Communications Applications from Silica. It is based on Analog Devices popular Blackfin embedded processor family. For its development Silica joined forces with Analog Devices and Bluetechnix.

FireCracker is a unique concept of a Hybrid between a Development Board and a Reference Design.

The Kit contains the FireCracker Evaluation Board and will be available with either a BF537 or BF527 module (availibility of BF527 module depends on silicon availibility). For evaluation purposes the evaluation software is preflashed at the Core Module. Different demonstration applications can be chosen. Reprogramming of software updates is either possible for the Core Module or the FPGA.

A binary of this evaluation software is included in the FireCracker Kit.
