Restriction for use of Hazardous Substances to prohibit lead (Pb) - or RoHS. The enforcement date for lead-free materials is 1st July, 2006. | Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). This is a directive to recycle plastic containing brominated flame retardant (halogen) in Electro- and Electronic Equipment. The enforcement date for halogen-free materials is 1st January, 2007. |
