With the E600 Series Intel® Atom™ Processor, formerly called Tunnel Creek, Intel® introduces its first Intel Atom based System-on-Chip.
Essential functionalities and I/O blocks such as memory controller, graphics, serial and PCI express interface are already integrated into the CPU, hence the E600 Series may operate stand-alone without the need for additional chipsets.
