ISO1H801G/2G - 8-Channel Isolated Driver for I/Os in Industrial Control
Infineon has expanded its ISOFACE™ family to include ISO1H801G / ISO1H802G - a galvanic isolated 8 bit data interface in SO-36 package that provides 8 fully protected high side power switches that are able to handle currents up to 625 mA.
An 8 bit parallel/serial µC compatible interface allows to connect the IC directly to a µC system. The input interface supports also a direct control mode and is designed to operate with 5 V CMOS compatible levels. The data transfer from input to output side is realized by the integrated Coreless Transformer Technology CLT.

- Complete system integration (digital, isolation and power) optimizes PCB area by up to 75 % and reduces part count
- Faster switching thanks to lower propagation delay time (compared to optocouplers)
- 150 °C operating junction temperature ideal for applications requiring higher ambient conditions
- Coreless transformer requires low control supply current, which in turn reduces power consumption
