LH7A40x - ARM9-based MCUs with integrated LCD controller

LH7A40x - ARM9-based MCUs with integrated LCD controller

NXP LH7AThese flexible, powerful microcontrollers, based on ARM9 cores, integrate an LCD controller, so they save time-to-market for applications that use an LCD screen. Supported by comprehensive software and hardware design tools, they make it easy to create everything from cost-conscious consumer systems to advanced systems with media-rich environments.

The LH7A400 and LH7A404 include an LCD controller, for powerful, flexible performance in all sorts of applications, including consumer, entertainment, industrial/commercial, medical, and automotive.

Both devices use a 32-bit ARM922T core with 8 KB of instruction-cache, 8 KB of data-cache, and 80 KB of framebuffer memory. The LCD controller is the same in both devices, supporting STN, CSTN, TFT, and AD-TFT displays of 1024 x 768 and 64k colors.

High integration and a range of options make it easy to select the right set of features, whether the end product is a low-cost consumer device or a media-rich system.
