NCP59302 - 3.0 A, Low-Dropout Fast Transient Response Regulator
The NCP59302 is a 3.0 A ultra low-dropout, adjustable linear voltage regulator that provides a low-voltage, high-current output with a minimum number of external components.
It offers high precision, an ultra-low-dropout (300 mV typical at 3.0 A load) while also offering very low-ground current. The device has an input operating voltage range of 2.25...13.5 V and a maximum input voltage tolerance of 18 V. Internal protection features include an output current limit, thermal shutdown and reverse output current protection. The NCP59302 is available in a 5 pin D2Pak. Additional fixed voltage versions of the product will be available in the near future and will feature an error flag function.
