OptiMOS™3 75 V for Synchronous Rectification

Opti MOS3 75V iconThe new OptiMOS™3 75 V technology from the family of OptiMOS™3 low-voltage products from Infineon specializes in synchronous rectification applications. Based on the leading 80 V technology these 75 V products feature simultaneously lowest on-state resistances and superior switching performance.

The IPP023NE7N3 G is the new benchmark for low-ohmic MOSFETs in the 75 V class. The world’s lowest RDS(on) of 2.1 mΩ (typ.) (2.3 mΩ (max.)) combined with a thermal resistance of 0.5 K/W sets a new standard. With the BSC042NE7NS3 G offering an RDS(on) of 3.7 mΩ (typ.) (4.2 mΩ (max.)) in the SuperSO8 package new solutions for highest efficiencies can be realized. The extremely low on-state resistance in this small SMD package with a current capability of 50 A DC, allow a huge cut-down of the required boardspace, perfect switching behavior and highest efficiency levels.

The outstanding electrical parameters of the OptiMOS™3 75 V make this technology the perfect choice for a wide range of industrial and consumer applications. While it is optimized for synchronous rectification, other fields of use from high-current motor control applications to fast switching DC/DC converters or Class D audio amplifiers, can benefit from highest efficiency and minimal space requirements.
