STGD3HF60HD - IGBT for Low Power Motor Control
New small & cool IGBT for low power motor control up to 150 W
The use of variable-speed motors to reduce both the energy consumed by gear and the noise in low power platform as dish washers, and other household appliances is growing day by day. ST is launching in the market a new low current IGBT device meeting the new trend.
The new born device complements the already excellent bundle KIT for Motor Control. Benefiting of APPT technology (Advanced Power Punch-Through) and a tailored co-pack ultra-soft fast recovery diode the STGD3HF60HD shows ideal both static and dynamic performances reducing the overall power losses with a narrow parameters spread with the temperature.
The STGD3HF60HD shows a low peak current during the turn on phase, and a smooth collector current shape during the turn off phase reducing EMI issue.
The product will be housed in DPAK package, the maximum addressable power without heat sink is in the range of 150 W...20 kHz (sinusoidal control).
