MC9S08QE32 - Ultra-low-power Microcontroller

Freescale announced one new addition to the 8-bit product family. The MC9S08QE32  microcontroller expands the ultra-low-power QE family offering high integration with an ideal pin and memory combination to help customers design energy-efficient and high-performing applications.

The QE32 microcontroller offers low-power features such as two ultra-low-power stop modes, new low-power run and wait modes, 6 usec wake-up time, ultra-low-power external oscillator and clock gating registers to disable clocks to unused peripherals.

The QE32 offers up to 32 KB of flash memory and a 10-channel, 12-bit resolution analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The S08QE32 programs down 1.8V, a 50.33 MHz CPU core, two timers, UART, two SPI, I²C and two analog comparators—perfect for cost-effective portable medical applications.
