S33 offers a smaller package with fewer pins than traditional parallel flash. These features enable customers to improve time-to-market and reduce costs by simplifying board design and saving board space.

To further accelerate the design cycle, S33 is based on an industry-standard package, pin-out and command set. The high performance and security features of S33 meet the demands of customers in various market segments such as consumer electronics and computing.

S33 serves a diverse range of applications such as digital TVs, DVDs, PCs, modems and printers. Industry Standard Features S33 offers industry-standard package, pin-out and command set for ease of design and accelerated time-to-market.

It is offered in 16, 32, and 64 Mb densities with all densities available in the industry standard 16-pin SOIC package. The 16 Mb density is also available in the 8-pin SOIC package. Then, 16 Mb customers can choose the 16-pin SOIC package for easy scalability to higher densities, or keep their application on the legacy 8-pin SOIC package.
