M25PE/M45PE - Serial Flash for Data and Parameter Storage

Numonyx™ Serial Flash for Data Storage family is designed for the fast transfer of data and parameters.

 

M25PE/M45PE are high capacity non-volatile memories offering a higher granularity than previously available. They offer densities from 1Mb to 16Mb. Each Page of 256 Bytes can be individually erased and programmed, with a Write instruction offering the possibility to update data at byte level. M25PE is a cost-effective solution to replace SPI EEPROM, offering the same pin out, acceptable prices and 100 k cycles W/E.

 

M25PE16 is Numonyx' first 16-Mbit Page-Erasable Serial Flash with 4 Kbyte Sectors. In the M25PE16 a page, a subsector, a sector or the memory array as a whole, using the Bulk Erase instruction, can be erased. The fine Erase and Program granularity makes it ideal for storage of BIOS parameters. This device adds flexibility in the applications requiring fast and light changes of program-code.
