LPC1100 - Low-Cost Cortex-M0 MCU targetting 8/16-bit Applications
NXP announced the availability of its ARM Cortex-M0 based LPC1100 microcontroller family in December. NXP's LPC1100 is the lowest priced 32-bit MCU solution in the market, bringing higher value and ease of use than existing 8/16-bit microcontroller through unprecedented performance, simplicity, low power, and more importantly, dramatic reductions in code size for all 8/16-bit applications.
The LPC1111/12/13/14 operate at CPU frequencies of up to 50 MHz. The peripheral complement of the LPC1111/12/13/14 includes up to 32 kB of flash memory, up to 8 kB of data memory, one Fast-mode Plus I2C-bus interface, one RS-485/EIA-485 UART, up to two SPI interfaces with SSP features, four general purpose timers, a 10-bit ADC, and up to 42 general purpose I/O pins.
