SILICA STM8S Evaluation Board

The Silica STM8S low cost evaluation board provides designers with access to all STM8 microcontroller peripherals. Starting a project will be accelerated and prototyping will be made easier just by using the board together with the documentation, training and SW example completed by Silica Engineers and available on our website.

The board can work with a supply voltage of 8...18 V. Internally the board can be configured to work at 3.3 or 5 V using a jumper. In details all STM8 IOs are available on 4 connectors at the bottom of the board in order to be expanded by the user.

STM MEMS evaluation boards as well as an LCD display can be connected to the board; some buttons are available to work in conjunction with a display (not included in the board package). The 485 serial interface provides quick and easy communication capability, the 10 LEDs + potentiometer provide the full possibility to understand the feature of the ADC converter. Board debugging and programming is possible through the SWIM connector using the STM STX-RLINK.

A comprehensive selection of libraries can be imported from the Silica web site as well as examples and trainings.
