| At the National People's Congress held on March 12th, 2008, PRC government announced that all polluting factories within a 200 kilo meter radius of Beijing should be shutdown for 9 weeks to clear the smog for the Olympics and Paralympics through the press release. | Xilinx is fully aware of the measures being taken by the Chinese government to shutdown all polluting factories for 9 weeks within a 200 kilometer radius of Beijing to clear the smog for the Olympics games. We have one supplier in China: the Hejian' fab located in JiangSu province (close to Shanghai) and which is also about 1400 kilometers away from Beijing. The fab will not be affected by the Chinese government actions including power, transportation, material/chemical suppliers, etc. |
